Water Storage for Preppers

One of the basic principles of prepping is the survival rule of threes. Under extreme conditions, you can only live:

Three Minutes without Oxygen

Three Hours without Shelter

Three Days without Water

Three Weeks without Food

First Aid Kits for Preppers

Whether you are a Prepper or not, having a basic first aid kit assembled and within reach is a good idea. A Preppers First Aid Kit can run the gamut from the extreme to just the basics. They are content to follow and I believe many are too lazy to do the minimal research required to have an informed opinion. Their reliance on government or media sources for information makes them easily susceptible to manipulation. It's simply easier to be a sheeple.

Have you heard? Ducks are the new chickens!

For Preppers keeping chickens has become all the rage. Whether it’s wanting to know where their food is coming from, a desire to be more self-sufficient or merely wanting to go back to the basics, chicken coops are popping up in suburban backyards of families all across the country.

But might ducks actually be the better choice? Here are 10 reasons I prefer raising ducks to raising chickens.

The Day After SHTF

It was just another day, breakfast, work, kids soccer practice ....

Consider your own lives. How many of you are on auto-pilot? We all settle into routines, that is human nature. We are wired to make certain assumptions about our day to day life. To do otherwise would be overwhelming to our brains.

Then ... the collapse event occurs ... TEOTWAWKI - SHTF - DOOMSDAY - ARMAGEDDON ... whatever label you choose. As preppers we face many threats. Pick your poison
